What is NAD+?

- NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a vital coenzyme involved in a wide range of biological processes, including the production of cellular energy from nutrients. It is widely studied for its role in DNA maintenance, sirtuin activity, mitochondrial function, and circadian rhythm regulation.

- Over time, NAD+ levels naturally decline, with research indicating a significant reduction across the lifespan. This age-related decrease has been associated in scientific studies with changes in cellular performance, energy metabolism, and other biological markers commonly observed in aging research.

What Studies Have Found

Optimizes Aging

Activates sirtuins and promotes DNA repair, addressing key hallmarks of aging.

Supports Brain Cells

Supports brain energy metabolism for focus, mood balance, and mental clarity.

Energizes Cells

Fuels mitochondrial function and ATP production for sustained, whole-body energy.

Boost NAD+ Levels

Replenishes declining NAD+ levels and helps maintain optimal levels as you age.

Potential Side Effects

  • Warmth or Flushing Sensation – Some research settings report a temporary warming or flushing effect during administration.
  • Digestive Discomfort – Mild nausea or stomach upset has been noted in some studies, often reduced by controlled administration rates.
  • Headache Sensitivity – Changes in cellular activity during research applications have occasionally been associated with mild headaches.
  • Temporary Fatigue or Dizziness – Short-term lightheadedness has been observed following administration, potentially linked to metabolic changes.
  • Localized Irritation – When delivered through parenteral research methods, minor redness or irritation may occur at the application site.
  • Metabolic or Circulatory Variations – Shifts in cellular metabolism and vascular response have been reported in research environments.
  • Altered Sleep or Alertness – Some anecdotal research feedback notes temporary changes in alertness or rest patterns.
  • Ongoing Safety Evaluation – As NAD+ is involved in cellular regulation, long-term effects continue to be studied, with research efforts focused on understanding extended impact and safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much NAD+ is in each injection?

Our NAD+ formulation contains 100mg/mL . A 10mL vial includes a total of 1000mg NAD+, and a 30mL vial includes 3,000mg NAD+ total. A single 0.1mL injection contains 10mg NAD+, a 0.25ml injection contains 25mg NAD+, and a 0.5ml injection contains 50mg NAD+.

Are there any side effects?

NAD+ injections may cause mild and transient side effects, including:

• Pain or redness at the injection site

• Nausea

• Headache

• Temporary fatigue

• Gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or stomach upset

Contact your healthcare provider if side effects persist or worsen.

Can I use NR or NMN supplements with NAD+ injections?

Yes, you can safely combine NR or NMN supplements with NAD+ injections. Both support the maintenance of NAD+ levels over the long term. In fact, for some individuals, using both together may enhance results, particularly if NAD+ injections are taken intermittently instead of continuously.

Important safety information

Consult a healthcare professional: Before beginning any new supplement, including NAD+, it is important to consult a healthcare professional to determine if it is appropriate for your individual needs and health conditions.

Potential side effects: NAD+ injections are generally well-tolerated. However, some may experience mild discomfort at the injection site or a temporary feeling of warmth. Other side effects may include nausea, headache, fatigue, or stomach discomfort. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your healthcare provider.

Drug interactions: NAD+ supplements may interact with certain medications, such as blood thinners, blood pressure medications, or chemotherapy drugs. Consult your healthcare professional to discuss potential interactions before starting NAD+ supplementation.

Allergies and sensitivities: If you have any known allergies or sensitivities to ingredients found in NAD+ supplements, avoid using the product or consult your healthcare provider for guidance.

Dosage and administration: Follow the recommended dosage and administration guidelines provided by your healthcare professional. Taking more than the recommended dose can increase the risk of side effects and may not provide additional benefits.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: The safety of NAD+ supplementation during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been well-studied. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare provider before using NAD+ supplements.

Pre-existing health conditions: Individuals with certain pre-existing health conditions, such as kidney or liver disease, should consult their healthcare provider before starting NAD+ supplementation to ensure it is safe and appropriate for them.
